Lifting with COG-PDO threads
A COG-PDO threads lift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure used to achieve facial lift-like effects.
"PDO" stands for polydioxanone, which is a biodegradable synthetic polymer. During this procedure, PDO threads with small barbs or teeth are inserted under the skin using a thin needle.
These threads lift and tighten sagging skin, providing a subtle and natural-looking lift.
It is a face lift performed without surgery, aimed at lifting and tightening the facial skin. It's called a "bladeless facelift." PDO COG threads can be used to shape the facial contour and firm the skin. PDO threads can be used alone, as a stand-alone treatment or in combination with other treatments. There is no known interaction between hyaluronic acid filler and polydioxanone (PDO) threads.
PDO COG threads are used to stimulate collagen production in the skin and define the face oval. They can provide immediate results that continually improve, peaking after 3-6 months and lasting 18 months to 2 years.
A thread lift is non-invasive and, in the right hands, is low-risk. The risk of scarring, severe bruising, bleeding and bleeding is low. Rare complications include irritation, infection and the visibility of stitches under the skin.
