Effective and reliable treatment of skin lesions

CryoPen is an advanced cryotherapy innovation that is a fast, effective, safe and new solution to remove skin imperfections such as skin markers, skin pigmentation  and age spots. The procedures usually take 5 to 30 seconds. CryoPen emits a fine stream of nitrous oxide under high pressure, allowing it to work with millimeter precision. The nitrous oxide damaging tissue by freezing the intercellular fluid creates ice shards and crystals that break down the membrane, destroying it. This means that there should be no side-effects of any healthy tissue. It is incredibly accurate and practical.

CryoPen is the perfect treatment for eliminating:

- old age spots

- skin pigmentation

-warts

-skin-lockers (leather tags)

-scavengers (millia)

-hemangiomas

These skin disorders are no longer treated by GPS in the NHS. With the CryoPen you can now perform these treatments in a professional environment such as The Princess Beauty Salon.

CryoPen is a medical procedure involving the use of very high levels of nitrous oxide on the skin, where undesired changes are frozen and destroyed. The Cryopen tip can reach up to -89 ° C. The coagulative effect is the creation of a thermal shock in the tissue, which results in rapid decrease in temperature. This has the effect of crystallizing the contents of the cells, leading to the destruction of the skin lesion. Duration of treatment depends on the size and nature of the change, but generally each change takes just a few seconds. Normally, frost or ice fields are observed during treatment. The "freeze-thaw-freeze" method is often used when the change is frozen, it can be defrosted for a few seconds and then applied to the second treatment.

After 2-4 weeks, a visit is recommended to assess the area to be treated and possible reopening. For larger areas more than one visit will be required, and one treatment is often required in small areas. Within a few days after surgery, scabs are often developed, and the lesion may be slightly red and slightly swollen. This is a natural phenomenon in response to damage to diseased tissue. Usually, these symptoms resolve within 1-4 weeks.

Cryotherapy has been used in medicine for many years and offers the most effective, safe, reliable and effective treatment for many patients with less likely to develop scars or recurrences than other treatments. The procedure can be carried out after initial consultation and takes only a few minutes. Often there is no need for more than one treatment to eliminate skin lesions. Many different skin lesions can be treated by Cryotherapy, including viral warts, seborrhoeic keratosis, keratoconjunctivitis, and other benign lesions. It is important that you make a correct diagnosis before starting treatment because we do not treat any cancerous lesions as they are monitored by the NHS. If a change is suspected of skin cancer, it is recommended that you consult your GP and provide your condition and that the area can be treated with Cryopen. Because of the risk of damage to sensitive areas, treatments are avoided near important body structures such as the eye. Treatment may take place on the face, scalp or body depending on the type of skin lesion. It is possible to treat several areas in one session, but it is not recommended for more than 5 areas of treatment at one time. Cryotherapy has long been established and the risk of complications is less than for many other treatments. For cryotherapy, no anesthesia is required. It is very well tolerated with minimal discomfort. During the procedure, you may feel minor discomfort similar to the pressure of the ball pen on the skin, although the pain may be more intense when a longer freezing time is used in the larger areas of the treatment. After the procedure, you may feel a slight burning sensation that may last for several minutes. After the procedure, the skin lesions are reddened, blisters may appear, and sometimes scabs may appear. Cryotherapy is considered a low risk procedure, but after treatment, a pigmented lesion may be observed in the treated area. The treated area may become lighter or darker. Pigment changes will improve in a few months, although sometimes they may be permanent. The pigmentary change is greater for darker skin types. When the skin changes near the superficial nerve (such as fingers, wrists, behind the ears), treatment may occur nerve damage. This may cause numbness, tingling or hypersensitivity. Nerve damage often resolves within a few months.
